First Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil 5 Liter Tin

Produced from olive trees in the village of Geyikli and its surroundings in the Ezine district of Çanakkale. Our olive trees, nourished by iodine carried by the wind in the fields facing the sea and the plain, are harvested when the olives are lush green.

Our product, which we produce without exposing it to air in accordance with all hygiene rules, is produced using conventional farming methods. It is produced entirely by cold pressing (maximum 25 degrees). Due to early harvesting, a fruity aroma emerges, doubling its flavor with its high aroma and low acidity.

The most important feature of first harvest olive oil is that it is offered for sale without being filtered. Additionally, it is stored in tanks that do not allow air at our factory. Thus, the oil is dark green when first pressed. Our olive oil, produced from Ayvalık type olive trees in a single orchard, has a saturated fatty acid content ranging from 0.1% to 0.3%. Besides its almond aroma, it has high pungency.

It was awarded in the competition organized by the Olive Friendly Association in May 2022. Due to the extraction technique and very early harvesting, it is rich in polyphenols. It plays a significant role in cardiovascular health and cancer prevention.

Where to Use First Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil?

It can be used in salads and cold served dishes and appetizers.

It is preferable for breakfast on cheese.

It can be used in oily dishes such as artichokes.

Why Do We Store Our Products in Dark-Colored Bottles or Tin Cans?

In olive oils exposed to artificial or natural light sources, there is a decrease in nutritional values and the color may fade. Dark-colored glass bottles or tin cans prevent olive oil from coming into contact with light.

Moreover, due to the risk of reaction between the acid in olive oil and plastic packaging, plastic-derived packaging should never be used. As Dizem Olive Oils, we store all our products in dark glass bottles or food-grade coated tin cans.
