About Us

Dizem was founded in 2007 in Gülpınar, Ayvacık District of Çanakkale. Farming is carried out on a total of 679 acres of organic agricultural land, and in addition to this, conventional and organic olives grown in the agricultural lands of Gülpınar are also processed in our facility. Organic olive farming operates in the fields of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, First Press Olive Oil, Table Organic Olives, and Table Black-Green Olives. At the end of the journey that begins with farming in these lands known as the North Aegean, Dizem Olive Oil is formed. Our annual capacity varies between 250-500 tons of olive oil depending on natural conditions. The term "Dizem" is used to indicate the free acidity value in olive oil. Acidity degree is the percentage expression of the amount of free oleic acid found in 100 grams of olive oil. Free acidity between 0 - 1 is called between 0 -10 "dizem". 0.8 acidity oil means olive oil containing 0.8 grams of free oleic acid per 100 grams of olive oil. For example, oil with 1% acidity is called 10 dizem, while oil with 0.8% acidity is called 8 dizem.

The taste of Dizem Olive Oils remains consistent, meaning it does not change. Dizem olive oil has a unique intense fruity aroma and flavor. It has achieved this feature thanks to the region where it is grown and carefully made production. It is carefully squeezed from olives that have always smelled the iodine of the Aegean Sea, digested the poyraz of the Aegean Sea throughout the winter, without mixing other region olives among them, from olives of the same region. Olive; depending on the location, position, climate, winds it receives, and the way it is cultivated, it can have different aromas. Each regional olive has its own unique aroma. The olives grown in our region have a fruity and mild sweet aroma. Our oils are produced in Ayvacık, Gülpınar, packed untouched and appeal to the upper segments of hotel and restaurant chains, which have the highest level of customer profile in Turkey.

Since Dizem Olive Oils are not captive in plastic bottles and preserved in glass bottles, they preserve their aroma on the branch just like the first day. The olives we use in production are selected from our own region, and attention is paid to early harvest. Thanks to our boutique production, we can produce oil varieties according to the requests of businesses. In 2009, Dizem was awarded the quality award at the Quality Competition organized by the Olive Oil Friends Association. In 2010, a '8th Joint Wisdom Meeting' was held with the Olive Oil Friends Association throughout Turkey, gathering all olive oil producers at our Dizem oil factory for a workshop. In 2012, we exported to the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, France, and Norway.
