Olive Oil Sauteed Lamb's Belly Mushrooms (Serves 6)
Ingredients
1kg lamb's belly mushrooms
1 teacup Dizem olive oil
4 cloves of garlic
½ bunch finely chopped parsley
Salt
Black pepper
Preparation
Lamb's belly mushrooms are cut in half vertically. Sauté in a pan with olive oil for 5-6 minutes. Three cloves of garlic are finely chopped and added to the lightly sautéed mushrooms. After cooking together for 4 minutes, parsley, salt, and black pepper are added on top. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 1-2 minutes. You can enjoy it as a pasta sauce, as a side dish for meat, or simply on its own. Bon appétit!
Lamb's Belly Mushroom is a rare, highly nutritious, and very delicious mushroom variety. It grows in the forests of the Aegean, Mediterranean, and Black Sea regions of Turkey during the spring months.
